	Works as a gravity disc thickener which does not require additional vacuum
	Ability to handle feed streams with constantly changing parameters (consistency, flow, freeness, etc.)
	The filtering media is continuously cleaned by backwashing showers which spray from the filtrate side to the feed side
	Shower header can be supplied with a self cleaning shower system which offers plugging protection
